Chiang Mai "Rose of the North"
Located 700 kilometres north west of Bangkok, Chiang Mai is often referred to as 'Rose of the North' not only for the masses of flowers that thrive in the cooler mountain climate, but also for its ethnic hill tribes, beautiful women, historic temples, scenic mountain beauty and distinctive culture.  Close to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Laos, Burma and Thailand meet, the mountains around Chiang Mai are home to a number of hill tribes still following many of their traditional ways and producing handicrafts which keep their culture alive.
Thailand's second city, Chiang Mai has deep historical roots.  Founded in  1296, this former capital of the independent Lanna Thai Kingdom, flourished as a major religious, cultural and trading centre until the Burmese invasion in 1556.  Expelled in 1785, Lanna Thai once again became part of Thailand and has continued to thrive, evolving slowly into a modern city with a unique character and heritage that can still be seen in the temples, houses and sculptures.

Koh Samui
is a topical gem located in the warm blue waters off the country's south eastern seaboard. It is the Kingkom's third largest island, after Phuket.  Relatively unknown for years, this sun lovers'
paradise has now attained international standards of service and accommodation.  Fortunately, it has also earned a reputation for retaining its friendly image as well as its natural environment.  Easy to reach from Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya or overseas, Koh Samui is literally covered with coconut trees and bougainvilleas,
which in turn are surrounded by white sandy shores and stunning turquoise seas.  Whether you're looking for remote beaches, great shopping, delicious dining or an exciting nightlife,
you'll find it on Koh Samui.

Bangkok "City of Angels"
Bangkok, Thailand, has long been considered the focal point of Thai culture and is the political and financial centre of Thailand. In spite of Bangkok`s rapid growth and prosperity, the city still manages to retain its rich cultural heritage, and travellers worldwide have been traditionally welcomed by the ornamental elegance and treasures of this exotic city. Bangkok is a city of temples, with more than 400 Buddhist temples scattered across the city. The Grand Palace, one of Bangkok`s major sites is situated along the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Here also is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaeo, which houses the Emerald Buddha. A cruise along the canals of Bangkok offers insights into the history and character of Bangkok, from the richly ornate royal barges, used for special processions up the river, to the numerous floating markets.
