Itinerary
Day 1 - Fly to Pisa
Flying from Dublin directly to Pisa Airport, your tour guide will greet you and direct you to your coach. From the airport, it’s about an hour drive to the beautiful Hotel Croce di Malta in the spa town of Montecatini Terme, where you’ll be staying for the duration of your Tuscan holiday. After you check in, you’ll have a chance to enjoy an aperitif before a fantastic 3 course welcome meal in the hotel.
Day 2 - Walking Tour of Montecatini
After breakfast, you’re invited on a short tour to familiarise yourself with the beautiful Tuscan spa town of Montecatini. After free time for lunch, if you feel like continuing the exploration, your guide will lead you to the Medieval village of Montecatini Alto via the historic funicular. Your evening will be free to spend as you wish.
Day 3 - Tour of Florence
After breakfast at the hotel, a coach which will take you to the Tuscan capital of Florence. Here, a tour guide will showcase this beautiful city, visiting the impressive Cathedral of Florence and some of the city’s most interesting cultural sights. You will have time to explore the area on your own, perhaps to peruse the beautiful shops, enjoy an espresso or aperitif or savour a classic Italian lunch. Your coach will return you to your hotel and you will spend the evening at your leisure.
Day 4 - Andrea Bocelli in concert
Today is going to be a great one. Spend the morning however you wish, and in the afternoon the coach will bring you to the concert venue in idyllic Tuscan countryside. On the way, you’ll visit a Tuscan ‘Agriturismo’ or farmhouse, where you can immerse yourself in local culinary traditions.
Afterwards, you will go to the open-air Teatro del Silenzio in Andrea Bocelli’s hometown Lajatico. Surrounded by the enchanting hills of the Tuscan countryside, there’s no more beautiful setting to see the legendary singer perform.

Day 5 - Day at Leisure
After yesterday, a long but exhilarating day, you will spend today at your leisure, relaxing and enjoying Montecatini at your own pace. Perhaps you will choose to make the most of your hotel’s excellent facilities and take it easy by the pool or even indulge in a luxurious spa treatment. However you wish to spend your time is up to you.
Day 6 - Lucca & Pisa
After breakfast, your guide and the coach will bring you to the fascinating walled city of Lucca. Here, on a walking tour of this Tuscan gem, you’ll take in the fabulous piazzas and the beautiful buildings and monuments of the famous composer’s Giacomo Puccini hometown. After your walking tour, you will have some free time to explore Lucca for yourself.
In the afternoon, the coach will bring you to the iconic city of Pisa. Known throughout the world for its ’Piazza dei Miracoli’ or Miracle Square and Leaning Tower, you’ll have time for photos and exploration here, before returning to your hotel to spend the evening however you like. 
Day 7 - Day at Leisure
On your final full day in Tuscany, you’ll have a chance to take it easy and enjoy the slower pace of ‘la dolce vita’. Perhaps a visit to some of the town’s local trattorias or a stroll through its central pinewood park with an aperitif along the way is in order.
If you’re still thirsty to explore, the train station is within easy walking distance from the hotel — a day trip by train can take you to many of Tuscany’s beautiful cities and towns.
To celebrate the final night of your stay, you will enjoy a 3 course evening meal at the hotel’s excellent restaurant. 
Day 8 - Return home
After breakfast and check out, the coach will bring you the Pisa for your direct flight home.
